Our Heel Pain Clinic is suitable for patients that have presented with plantar fasciitis, Achilles’ tendinopathy and generalised heel pain where no cause has been identified.
This Clinic is designed for patients that are yet to have had any allied health input such as podiatry or physiotherapy.
Alternating Mondays and Wednesdays at our Malvern Clinic.
In most cases, Mr Goldbloom does not operate on plantar fasciitis or Achilles’ tendinopathy unless the patient has committed to a course of allied health treatment. This is because surgery always carries some risk and there is a reasonable chance that it will not be required.
We verify each patient's case for suitability for the Heel Pain Clinic.
At our Heel Pain Clinic you will see two practitioners: Mr Daniel Goldbloom, Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon, and one of our clinical podiatrists. Mr Goldbloom and a clinical podiatrist will review your imaging, examine the site of pain and create a management plan.
The cost of this joint consultation is partly rebatable with a referral from your doctor and an additional rebate may be available from your private health insurer.
